1. Who we are
NBA Basketball School Lebanon (“we”, “us”) runs youth basketball programs and camps in Lebanon under licence from NBA Properties, Inc. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us by email [email protected] or WhatsApp +961 71 929 496.
2. What we collect
- Parent or guardian: name, relationship to the child, email, mobile, and optionally area or address.
- Emergency contact: name and phone number.
- Each child: name, date of birth, gender, jersey size, school and experience (optional), whether they have a medical condition and the details, and optionally their own mobile and email.
- International camps: passport name, number, expiry date and nationality.
- Camps with waivers: the date and time you agreed to the terms online.
- Free trials and messages: what you send us through those forms.
- Payments: amounts, dates, methods and references. We never collect or store card details.
- Security records: the IP address and browser of a registration or message, kept to prevent abuse.
3. How we use it
We use this information only to run our programs and camps: to place children in the right groups, keep them safe, contact you, confirm places, record payments and send receipts, and to organise travel for international camps. We use photos and videos, and analytics if offered, only with your consent.
We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
4. Who can see it
- Our staff, each limited to what their role needs. For example, coaches see the rosters and medical notes for their groups, and only designated staff can see passport details. Every staff account uses two-step verification, and access to passport details is logged.
- Service providers who host our website and encrypted backups, and send our emails, only to provide those services.
- The NBA: only if you tick the NBA opt-in on the Consent to Contact form. Your contact details are then shared with NBA Properties, Inc. and processed in the United States, as that form explains.
5. How we protect it
Everything you send travels encrypted (HTTPS). Medical notes, passport details, home address, emergency contacts, the player’s own contact details, and your notes and messages are stored encrypted. Our servers are in the European Union (Paris, France) and are protected by a firewall and monitored around the clock. Encrypted backups are made every six hours.
6. How long we keep it
- Passport details are deleted 30 days after the international camp ends.
- Registrations are kept for 2 years after your child’s last program or camp, then the personal details are removed. Payment amounts are kept without names for our accounts.
- Free-trial bookings and messages are deleted after 2 years.
- Backups containing deleted information expire within 30 days.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about your family, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also withdraw a consent you gave, for example for photos. Contact us by email [email protected] or WhatsApp +961 71 929 496, and we reply within 30 days.
8. Children
Information about children is provided by their parent or guardian, who can manage it on their behalf at any time.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we update this page and the date at the top.
